Richard Palmer - CEO/President/Founder
Richard Palmer founded Hazen Transport in 1992 as a division of the family-owned Palmer Moving and Storage, which he joined in 1978. As Chief Executive Officer, Rick provides executive leadership and collaborates with Hazen’s senior management team to establish and pursue the Company’s strategic goals. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Tom Welland - Chief Financial Officer
Tom joined Hazen Transport in 1998 after many years as an outside CPA consultant. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the Company with emphasis on safety and claims. Tom is a graduate of Wayne State University and is a member of both the American and Michigan Associations of Certified Public Accounts.

John Peczynski - Vice President
John has been with Hazen Transport since its inception, working in all phases of the operations with emphasis on safety and claims. He has over thirty years of experience in warehousing and transportation.

Marcos Sanchez - Vice President
Marcos joined Hazen Transport in 1995 and has over 25 years of warehousing and transportation experience. He is responsible for Hazen Final Mile operations in Florida and Maryland.

Richard Palmer, Jr. - Vice President
Rick joined Hazen Transport in 2008. He is responsible for Hazen Final Mile and Hazen Truckload operations in the Midwest.
He is a graduate of Albion College and was a member of the Carl A. Gerstacker Program for Professional Management.

Robert Divosevic - Vice President
Bob joined Hazen Transport in 2011 and has over 25 years of experience managing distribution and warehousing companies. He is responsible for Hazen Transport sales and marketing as well as managing Hazen Final Mile operations in Georgia.
He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and served in the US Army as a Transportation Officer.

Patrick Moran
Pat is a well known and respected Detroit automotive retailer where he’s worked in the industry for more than 40 years. He is former owner-President of Pat Moran Oldsmobile GMC Truck and a current member of the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and National Auto dealers Association. He is married to wife Sharon and has three children and six grandchildren
William B. Larkin
Bill is the founder of PowWow LLC, an air charter management company headquartered in Southfield, Michigan. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and principal of F.X. Coughlin Co., a global provider of integrated logistics services from 1981 to 2001. Bill attended Parsons College with a BA in Business Administration. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army from January, 1967 until November, 1970 as a Transportation Officer in Europe and Southeast Asia. He and his wife, Cathie, have one son and reside in Naples, Florida, and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
James O. Futterknecht, Jr.
Jim is a partner with Hammond Kennedy Whitney (HKW) in Indianapolis. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, he served as Chairman, CEO and President of Excel Industries, Inc., an automotive components supplier. In 1983, Jim was part of the management who partnered with HKW to acquire Excel Industries. Starting with revenues of $40 million, the management team took Excel public in 1984, grew revenues to $1.2 billion and in 1999, for strategic reasons, merged the company with Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. Mr. Futterknecht, Jr. has a B.A. from the University of Texas, Austin. He has been married to Sandy for 40 years and has two children and one grandchild.
