In its continued effort to provide service to its customers that reflects a dedication to the environment and the need to look at alternative fuel viability, Hazen has put new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) owner operated trucks into its current fleet in Georgia and Texas.
CNG Truck emissions are 95 percent lower than with diesel engines; carbon monoxide emissions are 75 percent lower; and emissions of nitrogen oxides are 49 percent lower. Hazen will continue to look at adding more environmentally friendly owner-operated trucks to its fleet in the near future.
